about
I live in London with these three:

I’m from Nebraska where I grew up on a ranch in Sandhills. I rode a unicorn (horse) to my one room school.

I went to Boston University for a year and transferred to the University of Colorado at Boulder. I studied russian, poli sci and international affairs. And was a total student government nerd.
—-
I interned at the US Embassy in Moscow during the spring of 2004. One of the most amazingly cool work experiences I’ve ever had…and fortunately, I’ve had some cool ones thus far.
—-
I went to the University of Denver to get my MBA. Again, I overdid it in student government. Loved my experience, miss my friends and professors.
—-
Packed up my car in early 2008 to join the Obama campaign, eventually becoming the North Carolina Director of New Media.

Moved to Washington, DC; lived in Logan Circle (<3). Met the most fun, smart, fantastic friends a person could ever ask for. Co-founded the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

This is blog is for fun - opinions are my own and not those of my employer. Or my cats, although they have a lot of opinions.
