NewMediaForum.ge day one (a day late)
Day one of the New Media Forum was a blast - everyone was fired up and ready to learn.
We kicked off in the morning with a talk from the Open Society Georgia Foundation Director and then broke into our separate sessions.
Did I mention that the conference venue is an amusement park? Mtatsminda Park. Complete with mustached mice, a mechanical bucking bronco (instead of a bull) and crooked houses....

Tbilisi
Tibilisi is amazing. Kicking myself for not bringing my USB/camera cable…I’ll upload pics later.
Saturday was spent exploring Tbilisi - we walked up to the Narikala Fort and checked out the views of the city. Tbilisi has a wicked pedestrian area with cafes, shops, bars and clubs. I have paid attention to Georgian politics for several years and it is so cool to actually experience...

Tbilisi, Georgia —> you know - the country. That’s why I am starting a blog.
I complain about being unemployed - because it really sucks - but to be really honest, it has allowed me to be flexible enough to experience some really incredible stuff. And I really have yet to capture and tell the stories that have emerged from the past few months.
So, it begins in Georgia.
