on the train from split to zadar sunday morning, i noticed that i didn’t have my passport with me. the hotel in split searched for it with no success.
the best/only option was to take a bus to zagreb first thing monday morning. here are my pics from the trip.
hotel in zadar - cab to bus station - [coffee] - bus to zagreb - cab to embassy - [i was randomly dropped off at a gas station and then walked through a field to get to the embassy] - [applied for an emergency passport; received wonderful support and service from the US consular officers and local staff] - cab to airport - easyjet to london - train to victoria - tube to angel - curry.
